I don't know how to fit it in, but Laca + Auba seems to be working fairly well.

I think both Leno and Torreira are inevitable at this point—Leno most likely happening later.

I really like Laca coming off the bench. When Kolasinac is back, I imagine we'll see a more compact shape from the midfield with Bellerin and Kolasinac pushing forward.

I wouldn't be surprised if Monreal still gets the nod for his defensive capabilities as I believe Emery has said he wants one fullback further forward than the other, but perhaps Torreira in front of the defenders will mean we push up even further.

I just hope on Sunday we can score early and not let Cardiff get comfortable as they search for yet another 0-0.

I expect us to win our Europa League group, but Qarabag is a team I've watched far too much of, and I think the away fixture will be tricky. I nearly forgot it was Sporting that got ravaged by their own fans, so it's possible Qarabag away is going to be rougher than Sporting CP away. I don't know much about Vorskla yet, but I'll be looking into them tonight and over the weekend.

Sooooo happy we got him to sign a new deal. Looking forward to seeing what he'll do in Germany.

If Cardiff had any quality at all this would be 1-0 the other way. No idea how Arter missed his chance so bad and then they looked like a league 1 side conceding the corner that led to Arsenals goal.

Warnock had the tactics right to start but the players have little skill to put them to use.

Know what never gets dull? An English former player as a color commentator, in this case Andy Hinchcliffe, taking subtle digs at the more talented, technical side when they're up against a 4-4-****ing-2 plucky underdog side whose challenges are always fair, whether it's an elbow pressed into the face, or a late knee hit into the back of a calf. Those things are not fouls.

Oh, and when one of these plucky underdogs flies into a challenge and rams their knee into the studs of the player with the ball, the studs "caught the player on the knee" instead of "moron slides his own knee into studs" or something similar.

When that cross came in from Arter, you could feel a goal coming because we're that **** defensively. I wasn't surprised, it just felt inevitable.

Not sure if it's the LB/RB or the defensive midfielders responsibly in Emerys formation but someone needs to start putting pressure on the wings. Cardiff have a lot of space and time to send crosses in and Arsenal are outnumber in the box at times.

It's 10 days past the summer window closing for non-English clubs, and here we are with Mesut Ozil rumours.

I'm interested in them mostly because he might be one of the most unfairly treated stars in the spotlight. I've had my own issues with some of his play, but it seems like some people want him to do everything when that's certainly not what he's made his career on.

All that being said, I wouldn't put it out of the question for him to find somewhere with less publicity and just learn to love the game again after the past few years.

It would probably be the best for him honestly especially for his sanity.
