I think he would've started today if it wasn't for the calf injury on international duty. Coming on at the half, to me, shows he wanted him to play but didn't want the minutes.

Great to see Ozil get the goal, and to look pretty happy as the whole team gathered around him.

Solid second half—great adjustments by Emery during the break.

Not keeping a clean sheet when we were three minutes away from doing so is infuriating.

It's not even surprising at this point.

Great goal—glad he's getting time to play this season.

Arseblog News is reporting Gazidis is indeed finally heading to Milan.

Let's get someone in who can grow the commercial side even further and bring more money into the club. (funny, I know)

Vinai Venkatesham is our new commercial director, while Raul Sanllehi will be taking over all of the football operations it seems.

I genuinely wish Gazidis luck in Milan, I hope he does well, and adds to the list of people who were better off after they left the club.

What's the consensus on the new blokes?

Also, I dont know much about Gazidis. Is this a good thing he's gone?

Raul will just be doing even more now, which is great, as he's highly experienced after his time at Barcelona.

Apparently, Vinai played a big part in securing the upcoming Adidas, which is seen as a positive thing.

Gazidis was mostly an inoffensive bystander it seemed over most of the years. He didn't secure us any amazing deals, but didn't slam any doors either. The biggest thing is we don't know what kind of rope he was given with Kroenke, and we don't know what it will be like going forward.

                          Leno
                          Lichtsteiner/Holding/Sokratis/Monreal
                          Elneny/Torreira/Mkhitaryan
                          Iwobi/Welbeck/Auba

                          Martinez/Bellerin/Guendouzi/Smith-Rowe/Ozil/Lacazette/Nketiah

Did y'all know we made summer signings? They're finally gonna get some burn!

I'm so excited for Torreira to sit back on top of Holding/Sokratis and act as the connection between the defense and midfield. I assume Elneny will roam as he does and try to win the ball, and Mkhi will be looking to set up our forwards. Ideally I'd love to take a nice lead and be able to sub on people like Smith-Rowe and Nketiah in the 70th minute. Obviously my list is transposed from the Arsenal post, but I truly hope that Auba plays more centrally and not on the wing, I'd rather have Welbeck on the wing, since we're giving Welbeck minutes.

B/R Live is where it's being streamed legally in the US.

"hey guys this has been a really great performance after a frustrating first 30 minutes, do you think you could concede a weird goal so fans don't get too excited or worked up about what's going on?"
