      Polite pass.

He’s done nothing at Athletico, and his success at Monaco was years ago now. Laca will conf his shooting boots again. He is extremely valuable in Arteta’s system IMO.

Heard some talk about Kurzawa from PSG coming in. I’d much rather this be a loan.

Do you guys think Arsenal will bring in a defender before selling one? With Chambers back next year and the young French player coming in next year it seems like a difficult position to strengthen unless someone leaves.

Same with LB, they need a healthy body for sure but when everyone is healthy will they have too many players?

We won't move in any CBs without moving one out.

As for LB, Kola will leave in the Summer, it seems.

Continued, as I now have more time to type.

With Luiz, Sokratis, Mustafi, Holding, and Chambers all currently at the club there is no way we'd bring in another in that position without one leaving. Yes, Mavropanos is now on loan, but we still have four fit central defenders.

Saliba joins in the Summer, and I think we'll sign another defender then as well. Mustafi will certainly leave in the Summer, even if we take peanuts for him and Chambers faces a long road to recovery.

As for LB, if the rumblings of Kurzawa are true (they seem to be), it also seems that Kola would be who leaves in the Summer and Kurzawa is seen as someone who would provide cover for Tierney, and perhaps competition/cover for Kola in the next few months.

Bringing in Kurzawa would also allow Saka to play on the wings, his natural position.

I would love to see Kola stay as a backup but I could understand his desire to leave if we wants more playing time.

So, that VAR check on the possible penalty for Pepe...if that's Vardy or Kane, it's always called a penalty.

I think Kane has been put in the "no penalty" category lately. The Newcastle one being the worst where he was football tackled and it wasn't called.

I think Pepe is like Zaha where a lot of refs do not like the quick, flashy movements and think they go down too easily so they are not awarded fouls when they should be on minor trips.

I can tell that we are vastly improving on the pitch but man, we desperately need heaps of reinforcements.

We simply are not good enough. Too much reliance upon young players.

So, perhaps he's developed a rightful reputation.

The word you're looking for is "foreign"—because that's how they're viewed.

As for yesterday, I might classify it as more than a minor trip.

Anywhere else in the park and that’s a foul that’s what kills me.

Reviewed by VAR, and still not a foul is what kills me. If you miss it, great, but that’s what VAR is for—an obvious foul which stopped a player from advancing with the ball.

I would like to see the percentage of calls overturned by VAR. If anyone watches the NFL, the new pass interference review is like VAR. The VAR officials are scared to overturn the call their partner on the field made so they rarely do.
