For the record, I still think we're performing above expectations this season overall—but yesterday was horrific.

In terms of home form, only one team has more points than us and that is Man City with 48. We're level with Liverpool on 44 points at home. In terms of away form, we have 19 points, which puts us 10th on the away table.

No team has a great difference between their home and away points than Arsenal, which is 25 points. I went through the whole damn home and away tables to check, and honestly, nobody even comes close. A few teams are around 12, 14, and one at 16 or so. Nobody even near a 25-point difference—absolute insanity.

To what do you attribute such a significant disparity...?

I mean I get being “not as good” away, but good night these metrics are shocking.

When it's this bad, it's completely mental, which is unfortunate.

James on the Arsecast today made a good point—Emery pretty much had the team setup to play the way they did against Newcastle, but the team played horribly, and there's only so much the manager can do.

This feels very, very much on the players.

Very nervous about the return leg. Gonna be a fired up crowd in Napoli, and everyone knows about our away form.

However, if Napoli try to go for it from kickoff, there will be plenty of counter attack opportunities.

As long as the defenders that played yesterday are fit and able to play next week, we will be fine. Not to mention, I think we can get an away goal on them. No way they put 4 past us in that case, right....
