It sounds like Saliba wanted a loan back this year and Spurs did not want to do that so Arsenal are sealing that deal. Same loan issue with Ceballos, Spurs want to buy him but Madrid want a loan.

Smart by Arsenal to try getting Ceballos on loan with their limited funds.

Everything I've read from the start of the saga indicates that it's the club, not Saliba who wants the loan back for a year. Ornstein said that Saliba "opted for AFC" but that's all I've seen regarding his choice.

Preseason or not, some things never change.

Mustafi is beaten to a header which results in a goal and his initial reaction is to throw his hand up pleading for an offside.

Zaha has told Palace he wants to leave, allegedly. Also being reported that Emery is a huge fan and wants him, which does seem plausible.

I don't think anything happens. Not unless we do some kind of insane installment type of deal or loan and then buy and hope we can afford it next year.

Just home from Charlotte and trying to decompress from seeing Arsenal in person for the first time.

Absolutely incredible experience. Indescribable really, the proximity to the club I have grown to love so much, that is always so far away on the telly.

I was literally 5 feet from Bellerin and Holding. Makes me feel like a little kid, lol.

Such a cool experience, and so nice to just be completely immersed with other fans that have either never, or rarely ever gotten to experience the club in person was just brilliant. Just to see our “heroes”, and not worry about contracts, signings, or anything else negative—was so refreshing. It doesn’t cover up the fact that there are massive needs at the club (Mustafi and surprising Nacho were dreadful), but it was nice to escape the negativity for a while, and simply enjoy the moment.

Nacho’s age was showing last year, and he can definitely not be relieved on this year for too many minutes.

I’m sure he’ll be valuable in certain games, but yeah...we need Tierney.

Saw both, and while excited—I remain cautiously optimistic until official club announcement.

Really hope we didn’t kill majority of budget on a player we don’t even get to use this season..
