Yup. They've been invisible and awful. Mind you, we were fine until the second Stoke goal and then the defense fell apart. It will be absolutely crucial that we beat Villa this week...Comment

id take that right now
as to walcott being invisible he's been injured for a month for god sake lol and vela isnt ready
at 1-1 we were fine we consead a goal which was a common occurance last year but im confident that this year with the first team playing we would have dealt with it and then get caught a couple of times on the counter as we chase the game
**** happens"whats wrong with him?""he's got a concussion boss""can he play?""boss he does nt know who he is!""well tell him he's Pele and get him fecking back on"BFR manager of WBA 1978Comment

If a guy is brought I expect him to be able to put in a performance that an Arsenal player should put on. He isn't even putting on a Portsmouth type performance right now. He looks like your run of the mill championship player on his current form.
I think we will both agree thats just not going to get it done. Hopefully he turns it around and does it fast, because we are going to need him for these next 4 games.Last edited by ZM Punk; 01-26-2010, 10:23 PM."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. I'm honestly tired of making excuses for Theo. The guy hasn't played a decent game all year. You would think he would at least have one game that he didn't look like ****!

however he does have the first touch of a rapist and other than blinding speed I cant see him becoming a first team player which for the money we spent is insane"whats wrong with him?""he's got a concussion boss""can he play?""boss he does nt know who he is!""well tell him he's Pele and get him fecking back on"BFR manager of WBA 1978Comment

How true - Theo doesn't offer much else right now other than his pace. Unless he miraculously turns into the next Henry, he might be a bad Wenger buy. I like Walcott and hope he can stay healthy and get a good run of games....Comment

Both Vermaelen(a suspected broken leg), and Eduardo(hamstring) will miss this Sunday's game.Comment

Clichy didn't look great against Young, but then again, imagine how Traore would have looked? What a nightmare that would have been, and the important thing is Villa didn't score.
If Vermaelen has a fractured fibula, as is suspected, Sol is going to have a lot of pressure on himself to perform.Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Phew - looks like Vermaelen did not break his leg, but he'll be out a little while....better than I thought.
I thought the Villa game would be a draw. Can't win 'em all and it's not an awful result. The game against United this weekend will be huge because it's at home and we absolutely have to beat them.
Having Bendtner back is a boost, but he needs match fitness....Comment

Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***
Man it was nice seeing Nic in there for the simple fact that he actually won some balls in the air. It has been a while since I have seen that. He looked rusty, but he gives us a dimension we were surely lacking. I'm sure he is going to be wasteful in front of goal like he always is. But then again what forward from Arsenal isn't nowadays.
As far as Theo is concerned, he isn't even exploiting his pace right now. As he continues to come inside game after game instead of using his pace out wide. He has really been a disaster so far, I can't state that enough."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."
