We really need to. We can't afford to drop points with the hellish stretch of games at the end of the month.

Apparently Sol Campbell is our new defender.

I'm not sure how I feel about this move, given that Campbell was wasting away in League 2, but he's been training with the Gunners, and if Wenger is impressed, why not? It's not a high-risk move, but there is a high reward if he plays well. So I suppose it's worth a shot.

I have some fond memories of Sol, so I really looking forward to him putting on the shirt again if this is indeed true. I just don't think he is going to bring anything to the table. But if it doesn't work out then there is no harm done.

At the very least he will bring back some memories of the good ole days of the invicibles.

Just can't win a championship when you consistently have games like that. We were just horrendous at the back today. Especially the trio of Traore, Almunia, and Gallas. Were still missing that little bit of edge that you need to win to finish at the top of the table.

Arshavin was not doubt MOTM for us. He was really active today. Diaby was also good. Other than those two, there really wasn't anything or anybody to get excited about.

If Almunia is your keeper, you'll never win the league.

                He is trash.

Arsene seems to like the Fabianski kid a lot, so I doubt will be seeing Arsenal buying a legitimate keeper until he has gotten a legit chance.

Until Wenger splashes around for a couple of big signings were just going to be window dressing I'm afraid. It just really sucks this season as the league is very winnable this year.

We were lucky to come away with a point today. I agree ZM - our back was absolutely trash today. I lost count of how many times Traore was out of position and what happened to our d on the 2nd goal????

Miget - I've been saying the same thing about Almunia for quite a while. He's cost us points and we won't win anything with him as the keeper. I know Arsene likes Fabianski, but I think we need Lloris or someone who will stabilize the position for the next few years...

I still think we can win the league and while the result wasn't what I wanted today, a point is better than a loss

I don't have much to say that hasn't already been said, but Traore was terrible. Terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible. He made mistake after mistake and always looked to blame his teammates.

Denilson's injury was scary and I hope he is alright.

You forgot to mention that he was terrible rsn Actually, add about 100 more "terribles" and that still wouldn't be enough to describe Traore's performance....

Looking forward to a better performance on the 17th. I think there's a chance Cesc might be back for that game

                        Man I hope so.

In other news, Wenger said to the press that Denilson should have committed a hand ball as he was going down so as to not allow a counter attack, which would have been smart, but I can't blame Denilson. He said he felt a pain in his side and couldn't run or move, so I don't blame him for not having the right mind to commit a foul in that situation.

Sol Campbell is rumored to be playing for the Arsenal reserves tonight at Upton Park against West Ham.

What does everyone think of the Saha rumors? There is no doubt in my in my mind that he is a great player, but he is also extremely injury prone, and more injury is just what Arsenal needs.

                                I personally don't want him.

I'm in the Gignac camp, unfortunatley Wenger isn't that high on him. I would love nothing more than to see him and Alou Diarra in an Arsenal kit by the end of January.

Of course its never gonna happen but one can dream, right?
