Re: ***The Official Arsenal "Gunners" Thread***

I flipped on the Holland/Italy game live at the very second RVP went down. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and it ruined my day. I was afraid it would be ligaments or something else serious.

Sorry, but I don't see the depth at striker right now with the injury situation. Let's see there's Eduardo and... well... uh... Eduardo. I doubt we see Bendtner or RVP before the new year, who knows with Walcott & Vela, and even if Wenger were to go after Chamakh or anyone else in January, by then it would be two months too late.

    This sucks.

Robin van Persie suffered an ankle injury in Holland's friendly against Italychallenged by Italy defender

Wonderful news. It's only a ruptured ligament that will require no surgery, and at this point, RVP will only be out 4-6 weeks. While it could still be a little longer, this is much better than a projected 3 months.

Either way this sucks. RVP was on an amazing run of form. Not to mention where just one Eduardo groin pull away from being totally screwed.

Has anyone ever ran the 4-6-0?

Given the way our defenders push up, you could almost call it the 0-10-0.

                              Hooray:

The number of Arsenal players currently injured is now up to 11 after Abou Diaby pulled out of the France squad for the second leg of their play-off against the Republic with Ireland.

It's not known yet how serious the injury is.

For the record, the other ten Arsenal players currently listed as crocked by the club are: Robin van Persie, Nicklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott, Denilson, Armand Traore, Gael Clichy, Lukasz Fabianski, Carlos Vela, Jack Wilshere and Johan Djourou.
Maybe, just maybe, there is a reason for all these injuries beyond coincidence/bad luck? I remember reading some time ago (this injury stuff is an annual occurence, no?) some pundit implying that the physio/training methods should be questioned, but it was the internet (hence, likely a crock of ****). Also, it's kind of a chicken/egg scenario -- is the staff bad because people get hurt or do people get hurt because the staff is bad?
