I’m not sure all 3 are financially feasible.

But that’s one down, I believe..

Ceballos returning immediately makes our midfield less **** than it was looking like it could be. If he returns, I would not be surprised at it being a permanent deal in the Winter or announced early for next Summer.

        Welcome Gabriel!!!!!!

Edit: they need to send my guy on an “intensive language course” LOL.

Really a cool and innovative way to make the announcement!

Ceballos officially “back”. I love it.

I’d love to see him signed, even if it means sending him on loan for a season of first team action before returning and having an easier path with Laca gone.

I’d also take moving Laca now if possible, using those funds to bring in a midfielder, and giving Balogun Europa League starts.

Seems like Holding is staying now and is going to be an option for Arteta.

Surely this means moving on Sokratis is now even more essential. The amount of first-team central defenders we have under contract is insane, squad-depth due to COVID complications or not, it's too many.

Luiz, Sokratis, Mustafi, Holding, Chambers, Mari, Saliba, and Gabriel.

                  Madness.

I read the other day Sokratis is going to Napoli for free.

It seems Auba has signed the ting and will be announced soon according to Ornstein.

It seemed inevitable, and was most likely agreed to for weeks with just small details being finalized before anything official was complete. The hysteria from some circles over it, and thinking it was because he was going to request a transfer, or had, were insane.

So, now we just need to offload players and sign a central midfielder. Preferably soon.

Arteta is officially no longer the “first-team head coach” but is now the first-team managers

                              ****ing right.

Emiliano Martinez heavily rumored to be close to joining Villa. Fee between 15-£20m.
