Granit Xhaka has bleached his hair and I now demand that he leave the club, more so than ever before.

Re: ***The Official Arsenal Gunners" Thread***
We had an easy first 3-4 games last year, so I don't think we can have any complaints about Chelsea and City in the first three.
Anything less than 11 points from a possible 18 in those six matches would be a terrible start to the season.Last edited by Krebstar; 06-16-2021, 10:46 AM.Comment

Same goes for our interest in Maddison. No way in hell do I believe we’re going to spend the kind of money it will take to get the players we’re apparently legitimately sniffing around.Comment

Xhaka/Guendousi/Kolasinac leaving will also chop the wage bill a bit too.

I think for a bit now the consensus from Arsenal supporters has been that this is the make or break window for Edu, so I'm glad to hear that we're attempting to be ambitious on the back of cutting wages in January, and yes, cutting those will also help.
It sucks, as it seems like we're trying to do two windows worth of work in one, so I don't think it'll work out like they're hoping it will. But, outgoings still look very possible, and we're making moves on incoming transfers so I shall continue to just wait and see. Not even July yet.Comment

Speaking of July it seems preseason is going to be in Florida. Going to be hot as hell for the boys.

With all of the stuff happening over the summer too, it feels like getting the business done quickly should be a priority for Edu as well, get as much time to bed new signings in, and get them acclimated, and start well out of the gate.Support Local Sports

It seems they're trying to do that, but I'm afraid that they won't be able to. But, they're making contact, negotiating, etc. it appears so I'll take that over them taking a wait and see type of approach. Stupid Euro 2020.Comment
