I think the boss finally got his ideal XI.

worst kind of injury, getting rolled on your plant leg, 'damaged' MCL is what it sounds like, which thankfully isn't that big of a deal, but hopefully he can make a full recovery without complication.

Well, I'll take that point considering how low energy the squad looked at times. No European matches...yet we still didn't seem physically up for it from the start. But, an away point going into the break, considering how we started...yeah I'll take it.

Definitely take it but a missed opportunity not to grab an away win when they didn't have Bissouma in that midfield. Everyone was pretty poor besides White, Lokongo and at times Smith-Rowe but Brighton were never truly threatened. I feel like Crystal Palace did a much better job attacking this Brighton defence earlier this week.

I actually like how Arteta put it when asked if it was a good point. He said it is a good point considering we didn't deserve anything more than that. It was a real shame that without a key player in their midfield we still could not do much, and could never break out of their press.

Potter will inevitably be at a larger club for sure—he's done amazing there.

Was delighted Spurs didn't hire him.

If an interlull wasn't bad enough, when we return we play on Monday and then Friday. I don't care about the short rest, I just love watching matches on the weekend. Ugh.

Great opportunity for 3 points on Monday. Also, a significant amount of our boys had very positive games.

Not able to watch the game today, but I'm off tomorrow so I might try and watch it early tomorrow morning. Although, that surely means it won't be worth watching.

My fear: Arteta has had two weeks to overthink everything.

Pepe gets a start, and it's Partey and Ødegaard again in the midfield. It's Villa on Friday, who have had our number, so points today would be massive.

Still planning on not watching until tomorrow, though.

Well, things worked out and I get to watch today. If we're not improved in the second half, Palace are going to be back into this very quickly.

Going back to watch the game I can definitely say that is a draw you take and move on. From McCarthy to Ayew taking out Partey with that reckless charge, yes he gave the pass away but you have to call that back. I think the midfield was so poor at this point I would honestly prefer to see Ben White along side Partey in the midfield and maybe give Holding another shot seriously I am not a fan of Ben White at all playing in a back 4 line up. You have to play to his strengths and he excels with a little freedom at the back he had that at Brighton and Leeds the past two seasons when he played in a back 3.
