One of those rare matches where no one really played poorly. We created some chances early and capitalized off them, then sat back on the counter.

We'll probably field a mashup of young n old Wed for Reading considering we have Newcastle on Saturday. They should be fatigued considering they play Europa league on Thursday.

Mixed feelings coming up vs Reading. My favourite current Australian player would be Adam Federici (National #2 keeper behind Mark Schwarzer) and it could get ugly for the Aussie. The shot stopper made a horrible error in the 1-1 draw vs Stoke and will be looking to bounce back though as they say - timing is everything. Federici may be walking to the 'perfect storm' mid week.

I know I am an Arsenal fan but man I love that kid Hazard why just why Arsenal did not try to sign him; he is so much better than his former teammate Gervinho and his forehead.

Good start. Hazard was very solid as I thought he'd be. Thought we let Wigan boss the game around after we went up 2-0, but the 2nd half was better. Looking forward to more Oscar as he had a good cameo

Looking forward to the game against Reading as I will be able to watch Chelsea for the first time on tv this season. I don't have Fox Soccer so the only time I can watch Chelsea is when they play on ESPN.

Loved watching Hazard yesterday but... and a huge but... he takes a lot of hits which worries me a little.

Oscar looked good in his limited time.

Also for some reason I was certain that ball wouldn't cross the line on that to be Torres goal and it didn't. Sometimes he just doesn't get any luck.

Think I'm going to get an Ivanovic jersey this year before I get a Hazard. Dude is an absolute beast.

Good start, should have been a few more goals though. On to Reading on Wednesday.

That has to be the end of the road for Malouda (& Benyaoun probably) at Chelsea isn't it? Not even on the bench. When RDM would prefer to play a LB at LW instead of Malouda that pretty much seals your fate.

Good... Malouda is trash. Has been last year as well. I was shocked to see France run him out there against Spain in the Euro.

On a side note, I'm liking Bertrand more with each game. Still kind of raw but non-stop worker.

As a Chelsea fan, I am pleased with where we are in comparison to the big two from Manchester. Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Liverpool can be included too.

A big season in store for The Blues!

Do you reckon it will be the same lineup as Wigan or will RDM mix it up a bit? I'd like to see Oscar from the start in place of Mata.

EDIT: Looks as if you will be forced into 1 change. David Luiz is out with a knee injury so Gary Cahill will likely slot in beside Terry.

Ramirez is another change from last week as he should be back.

Hopefully Torres can get going and would like to see Oscar out there from the get go.

Also hopefully we see Sturridge out there as well. Just say NO to Malouda.

                                From Football 365:

The wandering career of Adrian Mutu continues to, erm, wander - he is set to finalist a move to French side Ajaccio. Dangerous move - that's a little closer to Chelsea and their bailiffs.

Doesn't he still owe you guys like 17 million quid for breach of contract?
