Apparently we are going after David Luiz...... Loved his personality but he is a crap defender.

Yeah I don't believe this for a second. Luiz doesn't seem like the type of defender Conte wants.

I can't see Luiz as useful unless it's as a defensive midfielder. Even then, he's not useful to Chelsea at this stage in my humble opinion. But what do I know? I just watch. [emoji4]

I did love his personality and how I saw him interact with kids on a few occasions. Great guy in my book and if Conte thinks he needs him, I'd welcome him back.

I'll be honest with you guys, I'm kind of ok with this.

Doesn't have much impact on Zouma and Christensen, not nearly as bad as people think he is, and he loves the club. I've talked before about how we don't have enough players left who love Chelsea, which has always been part of our identity. This could actually prove to be a very good signing for us.

What's the timetable for Zouma? This surely spells trouble for Cahill correct?

I know he's not as bad as people make him out to be but I just don't feel great about it. Maybe playing next to Silva for awhile has made him more polished? Just doesn't seem like the type of inconsistent player we need. Hope I'm wrong.

I saw the daily mail report that he is aiming for the end of 2016 as a return date.

Really think back on his time with us though. He really wasn't inconsistent. Good for a few scares every once in a great while, but he was solid for us probably 90% of the time.

Also, he is a big game player. I don't remember him playing poorly vs any big team.

I saw a headline this morning that said that Zouma is considered excess to requirements under Conte. I hope that is purely BS!

He hasn't even played under Conte yet, and is one of the most promising young defenders in the world. I can't imagine that's actually true.

Alonso signed, now just to get that centre back and I'll be happy. Abdennour on loan is a possibility or Luiz. As I'm writing this, we've agreed terns with PSG, only a medical to go now.

Cuadrado also joined Juve on a three year loan. Strange deal bur possibly more money.

Been out all day so just catching up on news. I love that crazy Brazilian so I'm happy that's he back where he belongs at the Bridge. His shortcomings, IMO, are wildly overstated (for club and country. Many ppl forget the idiotic yellow that Thiago Silva picked up in the Colombia match to get banned for the Germany Semi).

Hopefully Alonso is the answer at LB that lets us solve the RB question.

Late bizness is better than no bizness!
