Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
More Jose antics?
Or are you suggesting that he is signifying the scoreline?
Or both, probably both.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
I'd even love a solid 2-0 win, probably not going to happen though.
Jose will do everything in his power to ensure we don't win, his ego can't take losing to us 3 times in a season. Conte will, in all likelihood, do the same. It's our last game against a top team and Conte will make sure we set up to avoid a loss as well.
All signs pointing to a 0-0 for me.Comment

Costa never gets sent off.
Most likely candidates on our team would be Pedro, Matic and maybe one of the wingbacks.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Think he's only gotten like 4 reds his entire career, and just the one for us, which was last season.
Anyway, it depends on Jose really. If they set up to maim Eden again then Costa won't have as much focus on him, which makes him less likely to get sent off. Plus, if United are fouling Eden constantly, it also makes the ref less likely to be harsh on Costa for his antics.
Going to be a very interesting game for sure, still think 0-0 is the likely outcome though.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Well that certainly could have gone better.
Not sure what Costa's deal is but we need him to step up his game again. Did he have this issue with Atletico as well? Only performing for half a season?
I think he's one of the best 9's in the world when he's on it, but if we want to win European trophies we need someone who is going to show up for the entire season.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Ander Herrera really took Hazard out of the game by himself. I was pretty shocked that was happening, but then I remembered that when things aren't going well for Hazard he tends to disappear.
But that was only part of it. Everyone on the team seemed to have their worst performance of the season at the same time.Comment

Re: ***The Official Chelsea FC Thread***
Hazard tends to play well in big games, he's never really had an issue with disappearing.
It was more that the rest of the team was so well set up, that Herrera literally didn't have anything else to do besides following Hazard around. Combine this with losing Alonso right before the match. Alonso relieves lots of pressure on Hazard because committing to marking out Hazard would normally mean giving Alonso tons of space on the overlap to hurt you.
Juve did the same thing to Neymar, who was equally hurt by the lack of Jordi Alba.Comment

Well, other than the entire first half of last season, yeah I guess Hazard doesn't disapperComment
