Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Another TFC win. Still in 1st place. Unfortunately, I don't see them getting recognition here that they deserve. They should be covering team alot more and doing what leafs, jays, Raptors all got, 30-60 min game recaps on tv. Get the casuals who don't follow soccer to enjoy a condensed, more action packed version of the games.Comment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
I can't even believe my eyes when I watch this team absolutely bossing a football match. They were a little rusty for sure, but to just grind apart a defiant DC United still feels surreal. I mean the fullbacks are basically playing as outright wingers. The creativity and pace of play is incredibly entertaining. Agreed!
I watch a lot of MLS as is, but I definitely make sure to watch this game every time they play regardless of their current form, place in standings, etc. It's easily the best rivalry in MLS. Last night provided another great finish!Comment

As Toronto sports fan, beating Montreal never gets old.
It's amazing how much these guys care about the Canadian Championship.

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
I was there. We weren't 4-0 bad. Actually controlled the midfield. Just couldn't finish and gave Dempsey way too much respect. No one would close him down. They scored a 2 vs 5 goal. Comical defending.Comment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Yeah, despite winning 4-0, I didn't feel great as a Sounders fan. I've seen dominating 4-0 wins before, and this one felt like it easily could have been 3-2 (or arguably like 6-3). Our defense and midfield did just enough and Minnesota wasn't very clinical, but I think the 4-0 scoreline was a bit deceiving.
Although yes, the Minnesota backline was kinda trash. On Dempsey's last goal we couldn't believe how much time and space the defender gave him to just go back and forth.?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

I'm gonna be out in Seattle for the game in a couple weeks. Where should we go before the game?Comment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
How many days? And which game?
(Also, I live in the suburbs, I can provide decent recommendations, but I'm not as good as someone who lives in Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, or another downtown neighborhood).?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Minnesota plays there next weekend. We'll be there Fri-Tues. A friend moved out there from here a while back, so 3 of us are heading out to visit him and catch the game. We rented a house on airbnb - I think around the Hilltop/Squire Park neighborhoods? Don't have the address handy right now. Just wondering if there's anything particular near the stadium that we should do before the game.Comment

Re: MLS Discussion Thread
Yeah we weren't terrible. Had some good chances.
Biggest crowd of the season (outside of the opener), which was nice to see.

If you don't go down to Pike Place Market any other time, there's some good stuff. Melt-in-your-mouth mini donuts and tons of fruit, fish, pastries, etc.Minnesota plays there next weekend. This is where my wife and I like to go when we head to Sounders games: http://marcelascreolecookery.com/ Just a 5-10 minute walk from the stadium.
You could always attend the March to the Match as well, which is a pretty cool experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKz4ak1IoZ0?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

No, I was on the side towards the opposite corner from your seats. A couple sections towards midfield from where the away fans were.Comment
