Seattle in to MLS cup finals. They'll either host Montreal or play in Toronto.
lol, can you imagine how horrible it'd be to have mls cup in Toronto close to mid-december. The driving factor to building Rogers Centre/SkyDome was basically a revolt by fans in 80s after a horrible CFL grey cup game due to weather. Potentially having snow here and well below freezing temperatures? Good luck with that....

Dude, who cares? The final in Kansas City had temperatures well below freezing, and it was a great game with great atmosphere.

Yeah, I'm not too worried about the temperature in Toronto. If TFC is in the game the place will be packed and full of energy.

But saying that I'm hoping someone with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment has spent yesterday and today inquiring about the costs and ability to get a grass field for Skydome for Dec. 10.

If we all know one thing about MLSE it's their ability to grab a buck wherever they can.

I just read they're keeping the temporary stands at BMO Field that were used for the Grey Cup for Wednesday's game. They've sold all 36,000 seats. So maybe they'll just keep them for the MLS Cup? Maybe it would be cheaper than moving it to Skydome

Did I mention that MLSE will try to save a buck whenever possible? LOL

Yes, they would just keep the stands from the Grey Cup. I personally dislike indoor soccer games, so I hope they keep it at BMO - their true home stadium - if they make it.

Toronto could go either way this time of year. Today it's very pleasant out, and last year on Christmas I was out for a run in shorts and a t-shirt. It doesn't often get too frigid in Toronto in December these days.

Today's the day! Good news for players, it's above average temperatures today(feels more like late October), bad news, it's gonna rain.

Wow, can hear the TFC supporters from my living room. That's impressive considering I only ever hear the fireworks when TFC score, and that there is a major freeway in between.

That was some first half. Scared the dog with all of my yelling.

A 3-2 scoreline that would sent this to extra time isn't completely out of the question at this point.
