That was never a red card!

Mata made the difference for Chelsea in the second half. He seemed to pep up Torres who played very well before being sent off.

He's pretty clearly the best player in the league so far this season.

Meanwhile Villa equalizes on an offside goal.

Man U and City going down. Wow! I miss Sir Alex. Moyes isn't cutting it. They haven't lost to WBA at Old Trafford since 1978. I was 12. Wow.....

With all these dropped points today I can see Liverpool failing to capitalize on it tomorrow at Sunderland. Every time!

NO! This is a new Liverpool, we are going to win tomorrow, handily. I'm calling it here, 3-0 Reds.

You can make fun of City, and rightfully i may add since they should never have given up 3 to that Villa team...but ManU losing at home to WBA is really really bad.

BTW, it looks as if we're about to find out who the REAL Manchester United fans are. They looked absolutely awful today.

Been there since Ruud and Beckham. Since Fifa2004. Not going anywhere now. But Moyes will be. If they finish out of the top four, he's toast. But I could see this coming. Bad transfer window. Too many front office changes. I do agree with Man U's loss being worse. But at least we didn't spend as much money as City to lose. I do like seeing Villa doing well. Being here in Ohio, it's nice to see that Lerner's team having such a huge win. People thought he was straight crazy for dumping the Browns for a soccer team.

Bah, was really hoping for 3 points against Chelsea there. Especially after that, erm... "questionable" red on Torres. I don't really see how he came out of that with a card.

But, Spurs are top of the table! (for at least a couple hours, haha)

Way back before the season started I made a comment that Moyes was out of his depth, but it's not even that. I think folks were UNDER estimating how important Sir Alex Ferguson actually was, yes that's right I said UNDER. The man is an absolute genius, and the club will never, ever have a run they like did with him again. If you think that's not possible, take a look at Liverpool. Prior to Ferguson the club had 7 first division titles, 1 UCL title and 6 FA Cups in 108 years. In his 27 seasons, Sir Alex won 13 BPL titles, 5 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 2 UCL titles, A UEFA Cup, a Super Cup, and he didn't finish below 3rd in the league during his final 22 years. In a league this competitive more often than not it's the manager who makes the difference, and NO ONE made a difference like Alex Ferguson did.

I think Moyes gets that, too. I read BBC Sport everyday. And saw the article about how Moyes himself gets how hard the job would be. He said that's why they gave him a six-year deal. To have time to right the ship. I think there is still a bit of shock at the club. Sir Alex was huge. But losing Gill was just as big, IMO. The main forces that drove that club are both gone. In a way, I feel for Moyes. He's in a really bad situation. But, like I said, I'm not going anywhere. They're talking about him now.....
