    Re: Official Spurs Thread

Does anyone know what is really going on with the Yedlin deal? I read he was visiting and people said it was Tottenham but I have not seen anything official.

Then I read that it was be an unusual type of loan where he will stay in the MLS for awhile before coming over?

Yedlin? I thought he was going to Roma? What happened to that?

Why Spurs could do with their new right-back DeAndre Yedlin sooner rather than later

This is exactly what I was hoping for! So happy for Yedlin to join.

Does anyone know if tomorrow's game will be on DIRECTV? Unfortunately when I look at the guide it just says "English Premier League" but does not say who is playing.

Yes, every game is on DirecTV every week. I'll have to brush up on the channel numbers. But I'm pretty sure it's in the 490's, where it shows the other games not being shown on NBCSN. EPL Extra Time, the channels are called, or something like that.

Just look in the info under each channel and it says which game is on that particular channel.

Is this free every week or just the first week like the NFL package? If this is free, that is awesome. Thanks a lot for the info.

As for the game, I am liking how the defense has looked with going 10 men so early.

Free every week. As long as you have NBCSN, you have those extra channels.

Almost a letdown, but nice to see Dier get the winner late!

I thought we were the better team in the second half, after getting pretty thoroughly outplayed in the first half.

Lamela wasn't great, but I think it's very clear that he is a different player this year. Throughout preseason and today, I think he's looked much more confident.

I really hope Dier is able to take over for Kaboul. I just don't think he's good enough to be a first choice CB for a team with high aspirations.

Always happy with 3 on the road!

It's only free if you get NBCSN. So not really free, but rather a bonus for NBCSN subscribers.

I agree with all of that. I was hoping to see Solado out there to see if he can get something started up top but after going down to 10 men that kind of changed the whole game plan.

But 3 points is 3 points..

Thrilled with the three points and also thrilled that I'll be able to watch every game this season now that I finally have full cable again.

Agree with everyone above saying that it really felt like we were the better team in the second half, I just hope that we can actually get some offense out of such play. That seemed to be the major issue last season (from most of the games I saw anyways) and hopefully we've turned a corner.
