I like to think every team has a shot XD

But in all honesty Spurs do have a good team and that Lamella kid is finally showing his promise again, hope he keeps it up. I think they have a shot at top 4 along with City, Arsenal, United. I hope they edge out City (who I don't believe will perform that greatly this yr) and finally top Arsenal. I don't see any team on the Merseyside that will make in the top 5, they'll be battling it out for Euro spots with Swansea, Villa (both of whom I think will slowly drop as the season lengthens) and Southhampton.

Newcastle are going to be a big disappointment this yr it seems *sigh*

You don't think the team that finished 2 points behind the champions even has a shot at top 5?

This is true. You don't make claims of being champions until December, like Arsenal last year.

Our away support consistently out sang the home team's support last year. Please.

No I don't. They have lost their best player and Suarez is going to be a big miss, with Sturridge now injured and out for a while they have to depend on Balotelli, who I have very mixed feelings about( tho I highly rate him as a person I think he could be doing better than how he is currently performing).

On top of all that Rodgers is new to the UCL, he'll put all his eggs in 1 basket and that will be the bigger basket, ultimately failing, I do want them to get out of the group tho (for the good of Mother England ^^).

Ultimately it's their defence that will be their downfall

Pretty interesting read on The Guardian:
FA plans to slash number of non-EU imported players in English football

Under the plans, Football League clubs would be banned from signing non-EU players altogether and Premier League clubs would be prevented from sending them on loan. The FA chairman Greg **** hopes the changes will help prevent “mediocre” overseas players from blocking the progress of homegrown talent.
The Football Association has unveiled detailed proposals to reduce the number of imported players coming into the English game from outside the European Union by up to 50%

Haha, but the best part is the chairman's name being censored on OS.

That's the dumbest ****ing idea ever. Own up to being the center of the global universe of soccer. Stop trying to push your own crappy English talent. That's what the Championship is for.

I don't see why this is a bad thing. This basically filters that only proven talent will be in the EPL/Football League (whether it's by number of international caps or transfer fee of over £10m or £15m) while ensuring more chances are being given to local talent.

To balance the changes, designed to help improve the chances of homegrown players gaining experience between the ages of 18 and 21, it would also become easier for top, international class non-EU players to gain work permits.
Did you even read the whole article?
