    Wow, had no idea Rooney had that much assists! He could realistically pass Giggs before he calls it a day. Also, Cech should play just so he can pass David James' clean sheet record - just 9 away!

      ^ They must have made an error on that stat sheet. It says Tim Howard holds the record for the Longest Distance Goal Scored at 93m.

      Asmir Begovic was just inducted into the Guinness Book Of World Records with his goal at 91.9m.

            Yep. Sterling had a chance to win it on the 5th shot for Liverpool and it was saved. Then they combined for 19 straight makes, including the keepers until a Boro player missed the net. It was a clinic. Guys were hitting the corners with ease.

                EPL in the Capital One Cup today:

                Chelsea 2 - Bolton 1
                Manchester City 7 - Sheffield Wednesday 0
                Tottenham 3 - Nottingham Forest 1
                West Brom 3 - Hull 2 (West Brom scored in the 87th and 88th minute to win)

                Crystal Palace and Newcastle are in extra time. Palace scored in stoppage time to make it 2-2. Newcastle just scored in the 112th to take the lead.
