Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
I was just pointing out the facts and events within the last 2 weeks timeline. I guess there are 2-3 here that every time I post something they just want to argue.
As it is it won't be a surprise for me if FA deducts points from Leicester.
Another fact is that the players have not caused any problems all season. The team has just 2 red cards (if I'm not mistaken) and a logical amount of yellows.Comment

You seem to be under the impression that there's some massive pushback against the idea of Leicester winning the league. The FA is drowning in money regardless, and no one thinks this will be some transcendent moment that changes the world forever.
It's a nice story, but the day after they seal it we're going to be following the transfer market and moving on, lol. Same as any other team. I'm sure most fan bases are just happy that their bitter rivals, or a typical top 5 team, aren't going to win it.Comment

This had all the classic signs of a "Newcastle is gonna really try here" match.
- Playing at home against big club? Check.
- Only game of the day so it's definitely on TV all over the world? Check.
- In a relegation battle? Check.
For their next trick, they will get a result at Anfield this weekend.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 04-19-2016, 04:29 PM.Comment

I have honestly grown to intensely dislike Newcastle because of that.
A squad of Newcastle's quality battling relegation every season would be akin to Chelsea doing what we did this year, but doing it every single season. People accuse Chelsea of only buying mercenaries but Newcastle is so much worse.Comment

Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
I don't think it has helped my enjoyment of Leicester's season that the media have transcended their former favouritism to be so pro-Leicester it borders on vulgar. Alan Shearer on Match of the Day 2 was a disgrace. In any other season, a series of decisions which help both West Ham and Spurs would hardly get a mention they'd be so welcomed by the media. But the overreaction to Moss' performance is insane.
I also dislike a number of their players. Danny Simpson is a domestic abuser, Vardy is a racist and Huth is a transphobe. For Leicester fans to act like there is a conspiracy against them is silly, everything has gone their way this season so when some decisions don't favour them they cry about it. Shocking.Comment

Depends how you feel about Wenger. If they finish top four you know he is coming back. If they miss Champions League maybe ownership notices and Wenger is pushed out/retires which many Arsenal fans seem to want.Comment

1-0 lead, dominating all aspects of the game, and then it ends 1-1 after a set piece goal. I can feel it.
By serious **** I'm referring to not finishing in the top four, no matter what that triggers, it's not a good thing for a club that doesn't like to part with money.Comment
