Re: The 2015-2016 EPL Discussion Thread
Fabregas could even move forward to No. 10 and bring someone more solid in beside Matic. Id like to see what RLC could do there or even Chalobah but I think they might be a bit raw. Ramires would even offer more protection than Fabregas. I think Hazard is fine on the wing with space. It might be a bit clogged in the centre. Pedro is promising however.
Fabregas has never been good for us in the 10 spot. In our system at least, he is very much not good there.
A few things:
Our whole team looks like they just don't care right now, I don't think it is too early to say that City are the team to beat for the title. They are so much hungrier than every other team.
Ivanovic needs to get dropped, every team we have played so far has targeted him directly. I don't remember a single attack going down Palace's right side. He is just getting burned game after game, we need to at least TRY Baba/Dave it surely can't get any worse than it already is.
Matic and Hazard were our two best field players aside from Terry and they both look very average at the moment. RLC had more impact on the game than Matic did today.
Kenedy actually looks like he might secretly be a brilliant signing.
We are desperate for Oscar, our team even last season looks like such garbage when he isn't playing/isn't in form. It's like we are two completely different teams. Obviously Hazard not being at his best has had an impact, he has won games single-handedly for us many times. But not having Oscar means we don't even have a semblance of any kind of real system.
Positive prediction: we will be fine, United has started the season this badly before and multiple times and still won the league
Negative prediction: this is actually going to get worse than it is right now before it gets any betterComment

One of the most promising U21 prospects in Europe, bought for 20m, played at wingback for a season then sent on loan.

Palace are off to a fast start this year, After finishing 10th last year im a bit shocked at this. The way this is going, we could be in European Football for the first time in team history.

I'm not shocked at all, they finished last season very well after Pardew took over. I think they can definitely break the top 10 this year.Comment
