This is everyone conspiring to let City comfortably win, right? To let them have an easier time in the league and bump up that English coefficient in Europe.

City will bomb out in the Champions League though.

I think I get more excited when he scores, because I get to see him celebrate.

Finally digested that loss and for me, it really just boils down to one thing: PACE. We are not attacking at Premier League pace and this basically results in defenses being able to sit back and watch us pass side-to-side because LvG wants United to play that possession game until a GREAT opportunity arrives. The style of play suits Europe, not necessarily England.

While I'm confident we'll find our attacking boots sooner than later, I do hope the players are allowed to take more risks because we're missing that cutting edge. I think LvG has got the defence performing well as a unit (stats are out there), but has yet to fully sort-out the final-third.

One stat that stood out for me from the United game was that Romero had more touches of the ball than Rooney in the match.

That's to be expected in LvG's system. He wants to play from the back. Rooney was okay this match and played a huge part in that Mata goal (the flick), but we need to play faster in order to actually get Rooney chances.

All this hubbub about Rooney being crap is way overblown and most of the noise is coming from fickle-as-**** United fans.

Both City and Chelsea will have tough games.
