But I'm going to be so happy that Arsenal fans won't be making fun of the man's broken English/accent anymore. Hilarious when most of them can barely put together one sentence in one language.

It’s some weird British superiority complex that somehow got passed down to us Americans. I was in Mexico for Thanksgiving and people from all around the globe could speak pretty decent English but most of the Americans/Brits/Canadians couldn’t put together two words in Spanish if their life depended on it smh.

It definitely started as more of an endearing type of joke, just like Arsene's "Look, uhhhhh..." has stuck around for so many years, but it definitely quickly turned into actual ridicule of someone's accent, which was absurd considering he spoke English from his very first press conference, which is not something all foreign managers have done.

It also, unfortunately, became cover for "people don't understand Emery" when in reality it seems it nothing to do with him learning English, as it has been said even in Spanish many found it difficult for him to communicate what he wanted.

As for Freddie, important to note for non-supporters who haven't been following along and suffering with some of us, while he lacks experience, it was the executives at the club who put him on the coaching staff this season because they feel like they have something with him, felt that he could take over for a time if needed, and he'd also help ease the youth into the squad. The youth that Emery was essentially forced to use by the sale of players such as Iwobi and Mkhi.

Ideally, this all would've happened during the international break, but my point is just that Freddie was always someone they seemed ready to hand things over to for a time being ever since he was promoted this Summer.

Also, Ornstein is reporting while it seems unlikely, Arsenal are interested in bringing in Pochettino.

          Do it.

Would have rather seen Jose go to Arsenal than Spurs honestly

Not surprised. Seeing on Twitter some fans want Emey. Don’t think he would go to Watford

You mean hiring back the guy they very recently fired didn’t pan out?

                    I’m shocked.

German 4th tier (Regionalliga) club 1. FC Saarbrücken have sacked their manager Lottner because they think their "promotion is in danger". After 13 consecutive wins in the league and beating Bundesliga club Köln in the DFB Pokal, they recently lost 2 games and the club still sits in 1st place.

What is this, Football Manager 2020?

Everton have sacked Marco Silva. Duncan Ferguson will be their caretaker.

There's talk of Niko Kovac taking over as he was in attendance today at Goodison.

15pts off first place Inter in Serie A doomed him.

I hope he doesn’t go to Arsenal. I doubt he will because he’s not really a rebuilding type of manager but by far one of my favorite Chelsea managers.
