It's so easy to dislike Bayern. First goal of the season assisted and scored by two new signings who played the first and second most minutes for their mutual club last season.

There is no competition when you buy your competition. Jerks.

To be fair, Dortmund is constantly poaching players from other German clubs as well but people only really care when Bayern do it.

True, and it's only because they're more successful.

I was mostly just annoyed that I actually got excited to watch the opening Bundesliga match, and I tricked myself into thinking perhaps it wouldn't just be a Bayern win.

Still a pretty good game though, Bayern is fun to watch when they are on it.

Yeah pretty entertaining one, crazy crazy rain at the end of the 1st half.

I'm not sure why Brandt and Kampl didn't start but when they came in they really gave Bayern's tired legs a lot of trouble.

It pains me as a Jamaican to say this but Leon Bailey was awful. A lot of hype around him and I know it's tough going against Bayern in your first match but nothing was coming off for him today.

I'm not sure Neverkusen was the right move for him. That team is so up and down right now, some place like Dortmund, Schalke, Leipzig, Hoffenheim would have been better.

Maybe this season will be less tumultuous for Leverkusen, but at the moment the above mentioned clubs are all way more stable, and I know at least Dortmund and Hoffenheim were interested in him.

I'm excited Bundesliga is back, but I'm looking more forward to Wolfsburg/Dortmund and Schalke/Leipzig tomorrow.

Bayern are loaded, and the newcomers looked great. I wonder how well James will fit in..

I love that the Championship has two games weekly on ESPN3. Gives me something to watch when I wake up before any other games have started, or late in the afternoon, as I can just throw on the replay.

Sunderland v Leeds has been a pretty decent game so far.

Barca are suing Neymar for 8.5M for "breach of contract".

"The La Liga side want to reclaim an €8.5m (£7.8m) bonus paid to the Brazilian when he renewed his Barça deal last year. The club argue that Neymar or PSG must repay the bonus after the “unilateral termination of the contract”paved the way for the player to join the Ligue 1 side."

Wow. They continue to be a huge joke.

YouTube is streaming the Blind Football European championship right now, and holy hell it is amazing. The ball emits a sound so players can tell where it is, and they are allowed a guide to instruct them on the sidelines. Goalkeepers are the only players who can see.

Are they using the blind referees from the Premier League? Sorry I couldn't resist

No, but there were some questionable decisions lol. And announcers giving players credit for intentional nutmegs and shot fakes (misses). Still, all those players are 100 times more brave and talented than I ever could be.

Just saw a wonderful sight in the Koln v Hamburg match. The VAR was consulted to confirm a dive—suspected diver then received a yellow card after it was confirmed.

                              Germany getting it right again.

Watched Dortmund's match over the weekend. It really is unbelievable how good Pulisic is already and how much he continues to improve.

Also, watching confident Nuri Sahin is so weird considering he couldn't even get a damn game at Madrid or Liverpool. He's so good in that Dortmund shirt. A totally different player.
