Honestly I love Costa but if refs are going to start carding players for abusing them I’m 100% for it.

I don’t know how different it would have been if Dahoud could have scored that first goal, but I would have liked to see.Comment

Leipzig - Leverkusen had some of the best goals I've seen in a long time.
Havertz got Leverkusen going from the spot early on. Sabitzer hit a rocket of a FK to equalize https://streamja.com/e9nO. Havertz again put Leverkusen up with a very nice shot off a corner https://streamja.com/PnMQ.
Werner equalized again for Leipzig with a very nice goal https://streamja.com/gkzP
Forsberg put Leipzig up 3-2 on a pretty bad hand ball penalty by Weisner
And then Cunha did this:
6 goals, 4 of them beautiesComment

If they did that in the Prem, Henderson and Herrera would play like 5 games per seasonComment

Finally got to go see my favorite Danish team play (Viborg FF) in a promotion clash against HB Køge. Sadly they lost 1-0, but it was great to be there for an away game. Next time I hope to catch them at home though!Support Local Sports

Re: The All Other Leagues/Competitions Discussion Thread
While Bayern still has the inside track, they missed a chance to put Dortmund on the ropes today.
Mission accomplished for Leipzig, as they secured a champions league spot for incoming coach Julian Nagelsmann. Winning the Pokal would kind of be neat for Rangnick; the visionary behind the project earning the team's first trophy.Comment

Not only did Bayern miss their chance, they were incredibly lucky to even gain a point. Late penalty off the post that would have given them a loss.Comment

Re: The All Other Leagues/Competitions Discussion Thread
Huge result for Leverkusen today.
Just ripped Frankfurt apart 6-1 (all 7 goals in a crazy 1st half). They were a little fortunate catching Frankfurt off a midweek Europa league match but the win put them even on points and halved Frankfurt’s GD. Not bad considering they lost Bellarabi and Bailey for the year.
Frankfurt’s on 54 points (+18 GD) with Mainz (H) and finish with Bayern (A) plus a midweek EL trip to Stamford Bridge.
Leverkusen is on 54 pts (+13 GD) with Schalke (H) and finish with Hertha (A)
Gladbach is on 52 pts with a trip to Nuremberg and home to Dortmund to finish.
Wolfsburg is on 52 with a trip to Stuttgart and home to Augsburg.
Hoffenheim is on 51 with Werder Bremen (H) and Mainz (A).
I think Leverkusen grab that last CL spot with Frankfurt dropping points in their last 2.

After watching Rangers completely boss a full-strength Celtic side, I think today proved a couple things...
1. I wouldn’t bet on Celtic getting ten in a row.
2. I’m excited for year two under Steven Gerrard.

Re: The All Other Leagues/Competitions Discussion Thread
Bayern v Frankfurt and BMG v Dortmund. With Leipzig suffocating Bayern last week, Dortmund still has a slim shot at it. Should be a fun last week with all these teams having something to play for. Even Bremen managed to play their way into EL contention with Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Wolfsburg, and Frankfurt all dropping points.
With nothing to play for this week, I'm expecting Leipzig to mail it in against Bremen and keep practicing for Bayern in the cup final.Comment

So far you were right about Frankfurt. Leverkusen has the best matchup remaining.

Yeah I missed the Leverkusen match and only caught the Dortmund one. Great goal late by Goetze that gives them a glimmer of hope as Bayern left the door open.
This final match day is going to be good. 1-6 (minus Leipzig) with all to play for. Q
Wolfsburg is just on the outside but no way they can make up the GD.
