$400M per year potentially for Messi. I will love hearing the people who put Messi on a pedestal compared to Ronaldo with regards to morality try to rationalize him getting paid by the Saudis lol. Glass houses and whatnot.

        Mourinho lol

"He is the worst referee I have met in my life," Mourinho said. "He is the worst. Technically he's horrible. Zero empathy. Zero communication. Zero awareness.

It's been inevitable for a while now, but congrats to Napoli on winning their first league title in 33 years.

Neymar open to an exit from PSG.

Can’t blame him, after the Ultras rolled up to his house.

Club may be without Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar next year. At least they may mean UCL tickets will be cheaper.

Things got pretty wild after the Espanyol-Barca match.

Espanyol fans storm the field and chase Barca down the tunnel.

If Dortmund beat Augsburg and Mainz they are Bundesliga champions. They better not choke.

Will be anxiously watching the Augsburg match tomorrow after Leipzig passed the baton today.

At Atalanta/Hellas Verona last night. Nice goals by Zappacosta and Hojlund, plus an absolute disaster class from the Hellas keeper. Stadium was 1/3 empty due to Atalanta's ultras being banned due to racially abusing Vlahovic when Juve was in town. Instead the ultras all massed directly OUTSIDE the stadium, with a few hundred cops in riot gear watching and a police chopper circling overhead. Calcio!

Augsburg down to ten is, as expected, pushing this further towards Dortmund being unable to grab the win. More than half an hour left, though, so we'll see.

                      They've broken through!

To the final day we go, still with a chance of breaking Bayern's death grip.

Craziness going down at the Real Madrid match at Valencia. Racist fans throwing objects at players, fighting, pull apart, guy restraining Vinicius Jr with a choke hold is barely hit in the face and goes down just to get Vini sent off (because: football), annnnd racist chants to top it off. Makes you really want to be a fan of this sport. [emoji2357]

I have no issues separating the sport from some of the morons who watch it or attempt to ruin it by joining in.

But really, it's a sport that's so sewn into the fabric of societies (those who view it, not those who play it) around much of the world in a way no American sports even come close to (in my opinion). Because of this, you see the wonderful but especially the ugly parts of human society.

I bring up the sport itself because I have problems with: in the middle of all of this let me fake getting seriously hurt to get this guy sent off. That's when the cynical nature of the sport itself blends a little too seamlessly in with the social dregs. Also, how many Valencia players had issues with the chants of their own fanbase? The onfield competition itself ignores/enables this stuff from the fans on a weekly basis.

Watch Bayern win the league next week on goal differential. Please don't blow this opportunity Dortmund like in 2018-19.

La Liga determined to shoot themselves in both feet and also a leg and maybe an arm.

Insane reaction from them, this is basically an international incident now considering Brazil is getting involved and they are doubling down.

Legit going to hurt themselves in the long run if something isn’t done quickly, though I’m sure Florentino is aware of that now.
