Seems kind of harsh for Villarreal to sack Setién four games into the season. They lost an exciting game to Barca, were beaten by Betis late in stoppage time and had an early red card against Cadiz. So yes, they had 3 points from 4 matches but they weren't terrible.

Also they sold Pau Torres, Nicolas Jackson and Chukwueze in the summer. Plus Lo Celso returned to Tottenham and they are playing Jörgensen in goal for really the first time ever and he's 21.

I'm never surprised by this any more. A manager could be fired before kickoff of their first match and it wouldn't seem abnormal to me.

Neymar kind of joked that the Saudi league is better than Ligue 1.

I don't agree because the French produce so much talent but outside of PSG and particularly Mbappe, it is kind of sad how it's just a selling league.

Leverkusen vs Bayern was a really good game. Fair result but you could argue that Leverkusen should have won. They missed a lot of chances
