well that's not really going to happen on the Liverpool side. but I know what you mean as far as star players. but Can & Ox are out for the season and Lallana will probably not be able to be fit in time as well. the team is bare thin at the moment and barely going to make it. Hendo is playing through some knocks and is why he was on the bench to start against chelsea. any thing happens to one of the guys in the middle we are screwed. maybe Lallana makes the bench for the final... we will see. some key rest is needed this week before Brighton at home as the squad is fatigued.

I think Rafa might help Liverpool and take points away from Chelsea and or Spurs...

Was pretty busy this weekend, but did catch the game. Well played and well reffed too - only really controversial thing was Milner not getting a yellow when he cut Hazard down. Giroud finished his header - Solanke didn't, and that was the difference.

Thought Mane had a nice game, but couldn't quite find a goal.

I wish Liverpool had Kante. He'd complete the first team perfectly along with Keita joining.

This team really needs this full week off right now. Milner and Hendo were both limping out there gutting it out.

Milner and Robertson both got away with a lot in that game tbh.

So did Rudiger. At least the ref was letting things go both ways.

Meh, a little bit. Rudiger got away with a few fouls but not nearly as much as Milner and Robertson.

I’m sure we won’t agree but you guys got away with a lot more than we did in that game. You guys were also playing the “take turns kicking Hazard until he gets subbed off” game.

Result was fair and I’m fine with the ref for the most part.

Are you interested in a 2016 Certified Pre-Owned Conte instead? Relatively low mileage and quality Italian craftsmanship.

Probably, but I specifically pointed out Rudiger because he got away with a clear yellow as well. On the break where Kante makes that nice tackle from behind on Mane. As the break starts, Rudiger is blatantly holding on to Salah's jersey to prevent him from taking off. A clever play as the ref's back was turned, but it definitely prevented Salah from being in on that break sooner and would have been an easy yellow if anyone saw it.

I don't even think they showed a replay of it because everyone was talking about that nice tackle.

The only way it goes to the last day is if the Swansea/Southampton game tomorrow is a draw. If either win, WBA are down.

So are we not going to laugh at Sarah's dive? I mean, I still hear about Kane against Liverpool over 2 months ago yet no mention of Salah this week?

And I highly doubt it goes to a draw.*

*Saying that knowing full well everything I've said in here in the last week, the exact opposite has happened.

It was pretty bad, and a lot of people are giving him crap about it. Even Klopp called him out for it post game. I also think a lot of people are not giving him as much crap as other players because he isn't typically that type of player. He usually stays on his feet while being manhandled. He just made a stupid choice and was rightfully called out for it.

Will you ever spell his name correctly? ☺

I wouldn't say he gets fouled more than most other top strikers do.

Manhandled though is a word I'd only use for players like Neymar/Hazard/Messi/Modric/KDB/Robben etc. Players who spend a lot of time on the ball, and who are so dangerous with the ball at their feet that opposition players mostly just set out to kick them a lot.

Salah is brilliant but he isn't that same type of player, he just gets regular fouled a lot.

Also, he dove all the time in Italy, it's just not mentioned ever because Serie A is pretty irrelevant nowadays.
