What was up with Ryan Bertrand this morning vs Bournemouth? I was dozing off but it seemed like he was extra chatty which is somewhat unusual for him.

West Ham takes a lead into the half. I figured it'd be about 4-0 City by now.

So, it'll now surely be sold as the biggest game in Premier League history.

                  Paul Pogba:
"I hope - and it's bad to say things like this - but I hope they will get some very important players injured like what happened with us"
Might want to keep that one in the ol' inner monologue next time...

A fan saying that is one thing, but a player saying that is absolutely ridiculous.

Not to mention stupid. What if another player doesn’t like Pogba saying that and wants to give him or someone on his team a little something?

I was just going to post this—I don't even know what to make of it. It's...so strange he's actually saying these things.

Asked if he helped to "script" the game, he replied: "I helped the game. I certainly benefited the game by my style of refereeing.

"Some referees would have played by the book; Tottenham would have been down to seven or eight players and probably lost and they would've been looking for an excuse.

"But I didn't give them an excuse, because my gameplan was: Let them lose the title."

Liverpool/Everton appears to be the tie of the third round so far.

Clattenburg has the biggest ego ever and is talking out of his *** now that he has a cushy job that isn't refereeing actual matches.

I was hoping that Liverpool was going to draw a small time club that we could beat while resting some guys. Glad we did.

Just saw there was a bit of history this weekend. Lewis Dunk has become the first player to ever score a goal for Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool in the same season.

Congrats to him! He's now only one own goal behind Martin Skrtel's record of 4 from the 13/14 title run season. My guess is that Dunk won't be scoring 7 himself to make up for them though.

As for this weekend, you know damn well Big Sam will steal a point after a goal from a set piece.
