someone had to take the penalty for Brighton, what a man Harry Kane is to put it past his own keeper like that.

I'm not watching the game. But what is all this talk about the goal Kane scored actually being an own goal for the Brighton defender? Is this legit or just nonsense jokes and angry people?

It's definitely a Kane goal as it was on target.

I've been watching the past 10 minutes or so. What is up with players slipping so much? Did Brighton grease the pitch?

It took a deflection but it's Kanes for sure.

Kane has slipped several times and now Lloris.

I was thinking the same. Kane was slipping a lot the last 15 minutes, I'm wondering if thats why Poch took him off.

Unbelievable point for Brighton with their remaining fixtures. That should secure their safety.

The lack of spirit and effort in this match from Spurs' side was so bad that if I show the same amount of will to get up in the morning tomorrow, I'll stay in bed all day.

Honestly could you guys NOT Spurs it up this weekend?

We might not even get past Southampton as it is, I would really prefer not playing against a Mourinho team in a cup final.

discussing a strange winter break where there is no real break, just less games over a 13-day period in Late January early February.

                              Neat.

It will be a staggered break. Over two weekends, there will be 5 games each, so every team will get basically two weeks off during this period.

Everyone plays one weekend. Half the teams play the next weekend. The other half plays the next weekend. Everyone plays the next weekend. Also, no FA Cup replays will now be extended back to the 5th round.

I like it - they will never give up the ridiculous Boxing Day/New Years schedule, so this is as good a substitute as we're going to get.
