    2018-19 UEFA Competitions Thread

I noticed that TNT didn’t make any mention to this on social media. They know the internet backlash would have been crazy.

    But yeah, this sucks.

    Brahv,

If ESPN would have gotten the rights they probably would have used ESPN+

They definitely would have used ESPN+ but they also have a ton of channels and would have had as many matches on live TV as Fox did, if not more. Hell they were even buying some of the games from Fox and throwing them on TV I think.

The plus with this is that you can watch every single game and have replays. I just don't think it's worth the price. I can watch any game I want for free with only a slight drop in quality. Replays aren't worth that.

Yeah but Turner Sports has a ton of misc channels they use during the NCAA Tournament. I mean, TruTv only becomes a thing for a week or two in March.

I'm lazy so I know I'm going to end up splitting it with a few buddies for Europa League Thursdays

TBS has to show eight episodes of Friends in a row on Wednesday afternoons. Can't be breaking that up.

It seems like if you are a subscriber, there is an option for replays. Still gonna be a no for me to get the annual subscription. I'll just pay per Arsenal match.

Side note, ESPN+ is well worth it. 4.99 a month and you get access to a lot of content.

Probably belongs in the “Other League’s” thread but more bad news for us footy fans in the US:

This Burnley vs Aberdeen game is pretty good.

removing link as I just realized its an illegal re-stream.

Burnley got screwed at the end of the first half. Wood was pulled down and the foul went against Wood for some reason. It should have been last man foul for a yellow possible red and a free kick in scoring range.

^ I mentioned about a month ago that I thought Aberdeen would give them a scrap. A great 2-legged affair it turned into.

Weird to see Sevila play in an early Europa round match yesterday. I had no idea they finished seventh last season in Spain.

49 seconds into the Super Madrid Cup and Costa was on the board.

TNT's isn't impressing me so far with their coverage. The studio team is a joke.

The game has been pretty good though.

Those two in the first extra period were fantastic team goals. And great finishes.

The picture quality looks good though, def better than Fox.

So far Leipzig has done a good job taking care of business. All that is left is Zorya Luhansk following a cup game. Leipzig is likely a pot 3 team, unless everything breaks in their favor.
