There is still a lot of time left, and nothing about this game has been Anfield magic or any other nonsense like that. Liverpool have been playing far better than Atletico, and another goal for them would not at all be surprising.

Maybe a bit of the "I'm used to things going our way, despite what we're up against" reaction—similar to Robertson's comments after losing in Madrid.
Liverpool's form since the "winter break"—oof. They didn't play poorly tonight, though, but definitely not at their best and Atletico grew into the game and improved as it went along. Seemingly a combination of an out of form Liverpool against an Atletico side who are ridiculously hard to knock out of this competition.Comment
