Well the weird part is that Rudi hasn't been THAT much better than Zouma. Rudi has definitely been better than he was when he got dropped, but that is honestly a very low bar.

How this is 1-1 is beyond me. Arsenal should be out of sight. Saka should have scored at the far post early on. Both of Burnley's fullbacks are all over the shop today.

Just smash it anywhere, don't try and chip it over a defender. There's plenty he can do there that's not what he did.

The thing about Xhaka is that he's been doing exactly this type of **** for years but it's often times not that insanely close to the goal. It's nothing new, it's not unfortunate, it's not bad luck—it's him not thinking in the moment and not being able to act under pressure. It's who he's always been as an Arsenal player, and the rare goal makes some forget that for weeks or months at a time.

That one moment summed up Xhaka at Arsenal entirely. It's a pattern, not a rarity.

Maybe as a professional footballer he could learn to use his other foot more comfortably or I don’t know, put it into the ****ing stands either direction.
