The type of “player safety” that players and managers never speak up about is the type that alters their team, removes them from matches, etc.

Play too often? Never hear the end of it. Players running around the field with brain damage? Well, they did the test!

The Arsenal press was working really well there for a few minutes once it was initiated after being passive in the first portion of the game.

But Xhaka being his clumsy self and letting Traore get the pass off sealed it.

Yeah by “let” I meant either not fouling or know to not press him right there.

As an Arsenal supporter it’s really, really infuriating to see Xhaka playing knowing that if Partey was fit he’d be in that spot. It’s quite the downgrade.

If anyone thinks sometimes their team plays too fast and wants a player to slow things down a bit, you should hope your club signs Xhaka. He excels at killing momentum.
