Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
Referee also gave a yellow right away so the VAR is going to protect him by not telling him to come look at it. Gotta love it.Comment

Big chance there for Nelson. He's done well since coming on. Very quick feet.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
I think he’s actually very good with his tactics, especially in the defensive end.
He’s just low energy [emoji23]

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
I may have heard incorrectly as I was banging my head into a wall, but I think he said Auba should have his captaincy stripped due to his performances or how he’s not playing selfishly enough?
I know for a fact on the first weekend of the season he said the reason Zaha is still at Palace is because he’s not good enough to play at a larger club.
He should stick to discussing defenses in front of keepers as it’s clear the ref of his takes are lunacy.
I’ll take the Robbie’s everyday over Howard.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
A Mourinho-led Tottenham team putting 11 men behind the ball with zero attempt to play football while Tottenham fans celebrate, drawing a Lampard-led Chelsea team trying play possession-based attacking football.
2020 has been a weird year.Comment

Naa that was Robbie Earle that said that. He was going on about PEAs body language and said that “something” be going on behind the scenes.
His body language was pretty bad but he looked like he was just frustrated by lack of service.

Eh, I can’t remember a time with him in an Arsenal shirt when he didn’t look frustrated while playing, even if he had been scoring. He’s never been one to playfully smirk after missing a chance or reviving poor passes.Comment

There’s a wonderful clip from today of Holding saying to the referee “He’s built like a brick ****house how’s he gone down like that?!”
It was when Traore did go to ground very easily with them running side by side. Traore was most likely very exhausted by that time.
Never change, Rob.Comment

I love that you can hear players now. Against Leicester, Jota was pushed in the back which caused him to mishandle an incoming pass and lose it for a Leicester throw. No foul called because he didn’t go down. He says to the ref “Next time I dive!”Comment
