The video isn’t that bad. Two heads coming together usually isn’t as cringeworthy as someone getting an Alex Smith type of injury.

I also can't help but wonder in what year (if the earth survives long enough) will heading be outlawed? Ever?

I know there are some areas where players are not allowed to head the ball until they're a certain age. It would certainly start with that being extended, but it would be an incredibly massive change to the game if it were to ever be implemented.

To those who say a clash of heads is rare, it can be, but studies have been ongoing relating to the repeated impact to the head regardless of how light the balls now are.

It's the sound, and knowing the result.

Is Ogbonna not holding back Watkins there? They spent 4+ minutes putting the lines up for offside but no mention of a potential foul.

Very unexpected win for Fulham. They've played better the last few weeks. If they can survive the next couple matches without falling too far behind, they may be able to get some points with Brighton, Newcastle, and Burnley on the schedule the next month.

These offside calls just are not in the spirit of the game anymore.

Have you guys seen the system the Dutch league has been using? That needs to happen ASAP imo.

Unless it screws Spurs, or Villa, then I agree.

I love me some margin of error. The best part is that they’ve implemented it entirely on their own without it being approved.

You see, England? That’s how you improve VAR independently—understand the human element and spirit of the game instead of investing in microscopes, tailors to tell you where shirt lines are, and psychoanalysts to tell you whether something was intentional or not.

Newcastle's trip to Aston Villa on Friday has been postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak at the club.

Not calling half a toe offside.

It must be really bad for them to not force Newcastle to play with youth.

Essentially giving a several centimeter buffer zone.
