Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
I must admit, I was scratching my head at Spurs signing Hojbjerg. He is the perfect Jose signing. He just sits there in front if the back four and mops up everything that comes his way.Comment

In a way it’s the perfect club for Jose right now to sort of get his mojo back.
It’s easier to sell his underdog narrative because Spurs have traditionally been huge underdogs, Spurs fans won’t care how the team plays because they are so desperate for real results so there will be less scrutiny on him for parking the bus, and he has the perfect players to play that style of football with. His system relies on individual brilliance from his attackers and Kane and Son are the perfect pair for accomplishing that due to their skill sets.Comment

Re: 2020-2021 English Football Thread
I don't get why Arteta is so hell bent on having Arsenal send in a million crosses. PEA isn't a great header of the ball. Neither is Lacazette unless it's a free header. He's a below average athlete so he's not gonna out-leap anyone.Comment
