One of the softest taken penalties I've seen. Dreadful. Lucky for Klich it will be retaken.

If Fabianski encroaches again he's sent off.

Anyone else watched a lot of Leeds this season? Watching another now—I think I’ve only missed two of their matches.

About to take an early lead on West Ham...wow, absolutely horribly taken penalty. A professional footballer rolling a penalty at a keeper is so sad.

Keepers should be able to move off their line. They’re already at an absurd disadvantage—if they want to slightly advance, let them.

^ Especially when Bruno Fernandes and Jorginho do their routine. So hard to keep a foot on the line then.

I've watched quite a bit of them. They're like 13/14 Liverpool only they don't score enough for the "screw defensive shape, let's score goals" strategy.

They are supposed to be at an absurd disadvantage. I don't think there's anything wrong with enforcing the rule that has always been there.

First, let me just be that guy to say just because a rule has always been there doesn't mean it should.

The issue is all penalties are not equal—not even close. Some are given for clearly denying a goal scoring opportunity (the Fabianski penalty was) but often times it's for a simple foul in the box where there was no clear goal scoring opportunity.

The advantage a penalty gives the awarded team often does not come close to matching the advantage they were denied.

The easiest goal a player will ever score as the result of minimal contact within an area determined by a line on the ground being absurd has always been a hill I'm willing to die on.

Should it be enforced if the rule is that keepers can not come off their line? Well, yeah—but it's a stupid rule. Should they be able to charge the penalty taker? No, but as it was stated above—if penalty takers can attempt to fake out a keeper, they should be able to take step forward.

We've always taken the piss at David Moyes over the years but you have to give him credit. 5th place after 12 games. They are a pretty good team to watch.

They're tied for the most goals scored from set pieces (7) and also tied for the fewest conceded (0).

Leeds have now have conceded the most set piece goals in the league (7).

A few teams will pass them by the time they've played their games in hand. But where West Ham are right now sure beats the relegation battles they've been in some of the past few years.

Leeds might have had better delivery on their corners if Phillips had been taking them. He takes them any other time. Raphinha's delivery was atrocious. Only got 2 points from Phillips tonight. Luckily Declan Rice was solid.

I don't get Bielsa's substitutions sometimes. Harrison off at HT again and pulls Bamford off with 16 minutes to go when it's still 1-1.

Raphinha is starting to rack up the fantasy category stats now that he’s more integrated. It’s getting to the point where he might have to start over Bamford. Wish he was categorized as a midfielder instead of forward.

Harrison annoyed me (fantasy) but Bamford really perplexed me.

I fully expect United to win tomorrow and continue their roller coaster season.
