This has the same feel as the Watford game.

That would have been sensational by Jones.

Is it? He made his body bigger with his arm—there have been seine absurd ones this season but this isn’t one of them to me.

You can jump without moving your elbow out sideways, so the whole “What are players supposed to do?!” doesn’t work with this one.

Intentional? No, but I feel like this one is called years before this season, also.

I thought it was very harsh yeah. He and his elbow were still part of the wall. It was sort of up, but not like 2 ft above the rest of the wall. It was still a natural movement. He was turning his body to not take it in the face. He wasn’t trying to be bigger or anything like that. He knew nothing about it.

I won’t lose sleep over it but just saying. Harsh to me.

We looked rather sluggish out there. Klopp has been moaning about 5 subs, too many fixtures with little to no rest, etc, etc. Yet he plays a strong lineup in the dead rubber CL match on Wednesday. And we suffered for it today. Fabinho, Taa and Salah were knackered. Henderson was only a sub in midweek but he looked shattered as well. Plus we lost Jota for 2 months in that meaningless match.

Yeah, harsh is a good word for it—definitely unlucky, especially considering the score before it happened.

One of those, it’s a penalty, but doesn’t make sense for a team to then get a penalty kick as a result. The new advantage far outweighing the disadvantage that was created.

The game seems more imperfect by the day.

His moaning has been insanely stupid. How many games in a row did he play Milner in before his injury? It was three in a week, right?

He’s consistently tried to distract from his shockingly poor squad management, I’d say. And he’s done so by complaining to the media and being a complete ******* to journalists.

It’s not his him, though, there was one substitution per team in the Manchester derby.

It seriously seems that the more managers need to manage their squad, the worse they are at doing so.

Managers run players into the ground and blame everyone but themselves.

^ And Matip went off with a back injury at HT. Can't see him playing against Spurs. Fabinho and Rhys Williams/Nathaniel Phillips against Kane & Son will be daunting.

This will be my only Xhaka comment today.

                        **** him.

Ball comes to him, he gets pressured by one Burnley player but has several forward outlets as Burnley are not even pressing. He passes back to Leno, who then passes out to Elneny. Xhaka then yells and gestures aggressively to get it forward. Elneny hits it long and Arsenal lose possession.

                        Insanity.

Is it just my feed for the Arsenal game or does it sound kind of like there is a hovering drone or someone left a fan on in the background lol

Yeah i thought for sure he’d play all kids midweek and then sub on a few guys like TAA who are searching for match fitness.

When I looked at the lineup today before kickoff for fantasy reasons I was like “damn that’s full strength” apart from the long term injuries. With Tottenham ahead midweek you guys are gonna be gassed.

Watching Arsenal in so the same thing over and over again when they are on offence is really sad. Has the be the worst I have ever seen just plain boring to watch this match is just set up perfectly for a Burnley smash and grab.
