It’s nice when VAR spots an offside that’s clearly offside but was missed. Ah, an example of it in its best form.

I don’t know, he was down long enough that I was sure the stretcher plus oxygen was on it’s way out.

Just thank god there is no permanent damage and he was able to muster the strength to carry on

Lindleof hasn’t done anything stupid yet today. MaGuire seriously is the worst player on the pitch. City should force him every single time he touches the ball.

Love Arlo bringing up something that’s been discussed the last few weeks. Managers talk about player safety and more substitutions but try either don’t use all their substitutions, make odd ones, don’t rest players enough regardless, etc.

It’s all nonsense from the managers—all of them.

Real missed opportunity for City. They played very safe rather than attack the game and that plays right into United’s benefit as a less talented, less coached team with much less pace.

Not the first time Pep has set them up fairly cautiously, though, and that’s six clean sheets in their last six matches since the Spurs loss.

It’s true but I’m just surprised by this one. United at home are so poor and are coming off that midweek debacle. Totally prime to be picked apart if only they went that way. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful but it’s a case of City missing out on two points rather than earning one.

But hasn’t United’s entire identity recently been never ending ups and downs? Crash pit of the CL this week, now a good draw against City on the weekend. They always seem to respond, but only for a week or two.

Thursday they have Sheffield United who have been terrible so maybe they lose to them, but then tear apart Leeds and their wide open spaces on the break after that.

Well yes and no. They are totally up and down but to me it's moreso because other teams allow them to stay in the game instead of finish them off. West Ham was a perfect example. They could have finished United off well before that, comeback. They are a very flawed team with very few players having defined roles.

That was bad from Silva and Mendy. I don’t know what either of them were doing there.

Obligatory acknowledgement of how incredibly slow Jon Moss moves around the pitch, and he does his best to never stray too far from the center circle.

So, I've always thought Jordan Pickford looks similar to a young Macaulay Culkin. I just now realized that Pickford's play style was captured on film several years ago.
