I'm old enough to remember when they were challenging for a European spot.

I don't know if there is a club in pro sports that has returned from the pandemic this poorly. (Milwaukee Bucks maybe?)

I think we all kept expecting them to turn it around, but at this point only a desperate attempt to avoid relegation is possible.

Through 12 matches last season Norwich were bottom with 7 points, 4 points clear from safety. Through 12 matches this season, Sheffield United are bottom with 1 point, but only 6 points clear of safety.

Through 12 matches last season Sheffield United averaged 1.08 goals per game, .75 goals allowed per game. This season it's .41 goals per game, 1.75 goals allowed per game.

          Their form is shockingly poor.

If we take their current xPTS average and appy it to the rest of the season, they'll land on 33.44 points which would see them relegated in eight of the last ten seasons—it would be down to goal difference in both 17/18 and 13/14.

Guaita should have done better with that.

EDIT: Seeing the replay it really swerved late and flat footed the keeper.

Palace can get something out of this. Really like this Eze kid.

When clinging to your 0-1 goes wrong.

Guaita is MOTM just based on the last five minutes it seems.

If Jose said the players were not happy with the 0-0 against Chelsea I can only wonder how incensed they'll be with a 1-1 against Palace.

I’m sure Liverpool will win this game but watching Salah in slow motion try to embellish a nudge right before s goal is classic lol

What a dreadful first half display.

It’s only going to take one, then you’ll see goals in droves and a 3-1 Liverpool win
