While we don't know exactly what Dean Smith said, I have a feeling his assessment in the post-match interview that other managers would not be sent off for continuing to argue is 100% spot on. He was even arguing calmly, and what he was arguing about was a ridiculous rule/decision, etc.

Honestly, how are you so clueless as a center back to not even have a clue where your line is and let a man be THAT open?

Gonna be honest, I think the call was fine.

How much time do we want to give defenders before an offside player is allowed to engage them? Just being offside isn't an actual offense, literally all Mings had to do was let the ball go over his head and Rodri gets called offside, hell he could even back into Rodri while receiving the ball and would get the call.

Mings controlled the ball completely, then got picked.

Gotta give credit to Scotty Parker regardless of the result. He’s got them well organized and wasn’t afraid to bench their only true CF in Mitro which made them a much quicker team in transition
