I'd like all of this a lot more if it actually felt meaningful?


Like I get that it wouldn't give us great matchups all the time, but it just feels weird that the champions of each european league don't get into the champions league group stage, I get that the 4th team in England is more popular and will probably bring more money than the top team in Bulgaria, but it just feels so hollow knowing that "Champions" doesn't really mean "Champions" the ECL is just another way to push the smaller nations and smaller clubs into earning less money to keep the the bigger nations appeased.


I know football is all about money 24/7, but I'd still prefer an illusion of sporting integrity.

If they counted assists like they do in hockey he would have had one for the second goal as well. Another fantastic cross into Bernardo Silva, who fed it to Jesus. This team is ridiculous this year.

I don't even think that makes sense when it's that far out. I like it for when it's too close to get the ball up and down over a jumping wall. I mean if they just stand there and don't do things like turn around and spread their legs, they're in the next round lol
