Yeah, wasn't it against Arsenal I think, when he could have had an early bath after like 6 seconds? LOL

Edit: No, it was Chelsea against Azpilicueta. He did have another early clash with Tierney against Arsenal too. Like you said, he does this all the time.

No, no, no, as Klopp said everyone needs to stop targeting him with these accusations and talking this nonsense, he’s a good lad, would never do anything like that.

(He put an arm/elbow in White’s face also, which is when Klopp threw a ****ing tantrum because Arteta was mad about it.)

Even the high foot into Ederson’s face years ago shows he has a history of being reckless and careless, as well as intentionally dirty.

Feels like Mane gets the Son treatment a bit.

They are seen as very likable and are great guys off the pitch so people willfully ignore that they are actually kind of massive dickheads on the pitch.

Really do wish Mane would cut that **** out.

As for Everton, they were generally embarrassing. 17% possession. Didn't even complete 100 passes. Time wasting early in the first half etc. At least they didn't hurt someone this time. I would like to see them stay up so we don't miss out on playing them, but also, they've been this petulant and dirty for a long time, so **** 'em. Enjoy the Championship.

What's sad is that their owners don't even deserve the parachute payments.

I miss when the worst thing he did was dive a bit, he honestly was one of my favorite non-Chelsea players, just feels like he has gotten super aggro as he has gotten better.

Weirdest thing about Everton is their owners aren't even like Mike Ashley or the Glazers or anything, they are actually trying to do right by the club and somehow managed to mess up THIS badly lmao.

There have been many, many instances of their ineptitude, but the one that has stuck with me is that they never really let Marcel Brands just try and do his thing as a DoF. Bringing in Ancelotti wasn't his plan, and of course, neither was Rafa.

They did the right thing in hiring him, but never let him do what he was hired for, and instead wanted to take shortcuts and pretend to be bigger than they are. I don't know if it was he who brought in Marco Silva, but in terms of managerial decisions, you can tell that his influence began (possibly) and ended (definitely) there.

Guy was a proven commodity and they just seemingly hired him for PR lmao

They’ve spent a net of almost a half billion on transfers in the past decade and are about to get relegated. It really is remarkable how poorly they are run.

And again, these are owners that are actually TRYING to improve the club lmao.

                      Actually incredible.

Klopp signed an extension. He's sticking around until 2026.

I would not be surprised if he doesn't stay that long due to stepping away at some point to take a break—I'd actually be shocked if he didn't, extension or not.

Pretty sure Klopp would not have signed this if that was the case. He would have said “I want to take a break at the end of this contract.”

Could be wrong, but that’s the feeling I get.

Well, it's of course all speculation, but we don't know what kind of clauses are in contract that allow for opting out, either. I don't think they'd publicly want an expiration date on his time with the club, so instead of making it known he's here for two more years, one more year and that's it, it would be something that is announced much closer to it happening.

Liverpool are a well run club, which to me means they would prefer to have the perception that he's not going anywhere, even if it means he could and he and the club have had those conversations. Creates far less speculation and far less distractions—it's just smart to not announce it, even if it would be planned or discussed as a possibility.

My prediction was more that he might unexpectedly come to the conclusion that he just wants a ****ing break, and by break, I mean a serious sabbatical, he's out of football for more than a year, etc.
