You’re at least locked into third—only way you were dragged into the chaos below was with a loss, I think. Big big point.

I should clarify, the chaos at this point now only resides in North London.

It’s really laughable how inept we are in front of goal.

Also laughable is Ragnick taking the Austria gig [emoji23]

We haven't won at Old Trafford in like 9 years or something lmao, every Chelsea fan was calling this a draw or 1 goal loss from the start.

I don't think they'd publicly want an expiration date on his time with the club, so instead of making it known he's here for two more years, one more year and that's it, it would be something that is announced much closer to it happening.

Liverpool are a well run club, which to me means they would prefer to have the perception that he's not going anywhere, even if it means he could and he and the club have had those conversations. Creates far less speculation and far less distractions—it's just smart to not announce it, even if it would be planned or discussed as a possibility.

My prediction was more that he might unexpectedly come to the conclusion that he just wants a ****ing break, and by break, I mean a serious sabbatical, he's out of football for more than a year, etc.
Just some more info on it. Klopp is actually the one who opened these negotiations. He didn't increase his salary but did get more money for Pep Lijnders and Peter Krawietz. I saw somewhere that there is an option for an additional 2-year extension through 2028, but I don't know if that is true or not.

In any case, this was some fantastic and unexpected news yesterday. Trying to enjoy this period of time as much as I can because it certainly has to be the peak of how this club will be positioned in my lifetime.

I've had doubts all week about coming away with 3 points at St. James's. Praying we don't slip up. Klopp has rung the changes. Not confident with our midfield 3 today. Hope I'm wrong.

No foul there in the build up. Great composure by Keita.

It was clear live that it wasn’t a foul.

Naby looking like Salah with the composure and left footed finish!

Been a LONG time since a Newcastle team played a high press like this.

Norwich could be relegated today IF they lose at Villa and Burnley win at Watford (huge 6 pointer there!)

Has to score that! Gomez teed him up perfectly.

I was a little concerned about the starting midfield, but the game was always in control. Let’s go!
