Bowen wins a penalty (after deciding to fall down after he originally stayed on his feet) yet he should’ve been sent off for his challenge on Martinelli. Deliberate scissor tackle, you can see him snap his legs together to trap Martinelli’s ankle. Dirty, intentional, and incorrectly punished—which is not at all surprising.

Kind of an interesting match there for Liverpool. Absolutely dominated the 1st half. Villa played well to start out the 2nd but Liverpool weathered the storm.

Nuñez is kind of a polarizing player among Liverpool fans it seems. I couldn’t be happier. Give me a player who is constantly being a threat any day. The hard part is creating chances for himself and others. Got that covered. Also the recorded fastest player in the league this season. The goals stat will come.

Your game could have easily been nearly every score line from 3-1 to 5-5. The amount of big chances committed by both clubs was crazy.

I’ll let you guys call it on Nunez. We had players like that in Torres and Timo. Nuisances with their running and work rate but so technically poor that it ultimately wasn’t worth it/didn’t work out.

Hopefully he’s mentally strong enough because Torres & Timo couldn’t

The issue is he’s seen Martinelli finish to the far side with his right foot easily many times. Tough spot for him to be in overall.
