I still stand by what I said, oh, over a year ago, that I don't think Klopp stays for his entire contract at Liverpool (2026), and that he chooses to leave on his own.

He left Mainz and Dortmund on his own after disappointing seasons, and the timing and circumstances in both are similar to how this season has gone for Liverpool.

You know you're bad when Welbeck scores against you while standing, and remains standing after he scores.

This might be a season when 80 points is enough to win the league.

Well Pep officially conceded the league today so it should be a fun one.

No mention of it post-match, no clips being posted anywhere online. Graeme was the only person who mentioned it at all.

Absolutely atrocious challenge and then he pretends he got hurt on the play.

I actually started typing about it again and then thought en it's pointless, and that's what I was going to say. It won't be talked about after, it won't be looked after, etc. but it was insanely reckless. It's the type of tackle that when it does connect, everyone is admonishing. Some will trot out the classic well he didn't mean it, but they'll still accept it was dangerous.

To say Grealish was lucky is an understatement.

Yeah Grealish is lucky to be alive. If that connects its certain death most likely by immediate combustion until he’s just a pile of ash. Let’s all remember this day as the day Jack Grealish miraculously survived a football challenge.

I’m pretty sure the guy they actually called a foul on after got a yellow too lol.

Anyway, on a more serious note, this is such a strange year. Some teams are shockingly stumbling along. Liverpool is just very weird. I still think United is doing a lot of this with smoke and mirrors but I will say this. Ronaldo’s idiocy really galvanized the roster. Sure seems like they’ve bought in and had a nice weight lifted with him leaving.

I think the first goal today was a bit fortunate but I’m guessing because Bruno and Rashford were both in the exact same place, it’s harder to say that the keeper was put off. Still surprised they didn’t pull that one back.

I don’t see a way where Arsenal blows this though. They are too well coached and too synchronized to have any trip ups. City is still the better club compared to United. Tough result for them today.

Yeah, every football fan has one thing in common, a hatred of United. It’s all good. I’d hate them too if I weren’t a supporter lol. . Gonna be a wild ride this year for everyone.

What happened in the Bournemouth-Brentford match? I just turned on the tv and Bournemouth’s coach was giving an interview talking about “the decision was scandalous”.

Also, I thought Toney was supposed to be suspended for betting on games [emoji23]. He’s out there just beating teams up with a smile on his face

Toney has been charged, but not yet found guilty, although it seems almost certain he’ll face a ban.
