I would suggest maybe choose a club with some ambition. Doesn't have to be the best but not someone just happy to be in the Premier League. I'm thinking of Crystal Palace as a prime example of this (finishes: 11th, 12th, 14th, 14th, 12th, etc.).

I really don’t think he’s as much of an idiot as he’s made out to be. If he was English instead of American I PROMISE he’d get less than 50% of the hate he currently gets. Not even arguable.Comment

He owns 20% of the Dodgers and I don’t think he ever acted as their interim GM for 6+ months.Comment

He’s pretty adamant that Boehly is a big big reason for setting up the dodgers.
At the end of the day, I think we can all agree it’s probably JUST a bit too early to judge his tenure as an owner.Comment

I genuinely have no idea, just going off what my friend said who is a huge baseball guy.

Sacking Tuchel was absurdly poorly timed, and Potter was never really given a chance due to when he began and being given a bloated and unbalanced squad.
We can judge what he's done so far, which has been poor. Does that mean it won't get better, no, but it's also not as if he has sat back and not done much yet so judging him is unfair. He came in and immediately put his stamp on how the club was being run, so we can't sit here and say well he just started, give him time. He's done plenty that can be judged as of right now.
For years that club has been run very well, but once he took over it has become quite easy to poke holes into many of their decisions. I'm sure it'll get better, especially if/when he steps even further back.Comment

Not sure what De Zerbi's issue with Stellini is but he certainly was pissed off and acting like an *******.Comment

Re: 2022-23 English Football Thread
Loss was fully deserved but I’m so tired of these referees man.
Wolves legit were allowed to control that entire game through fouling. Lemina and Mario both EASILY did enough to get sent off, every single Chelsea counter was stopped by a tactical foul that wasn’t carded, and sometimes not whistled at all. The handball seemed pretty clear to me as well, he’s got both his hands just out and legit blocks a shot on target with his hand.
Just getting so ridiculous at this point.Comment

Regardless of the instigator, I do love that both managers were sent off as a message of this is what happens if you can't control your staff.Comment
