Straight up basura the entire match. I was in Chicago at the LFC bar again, and there were a few Chelsea fans sprinkled in. Someone was yelling "what!?" almost constantly. The explosion of anger at that last foul called on Darwin was something else lol

Bad day at the office for Harry Clarke of Ipswich. Concedes a penalty, scores an own goal and sent off as well.

Darwin was running around hammering people and that’s the foul they call ahahahaha.

I hope that ref doesn’t get another prem game but he probably will.

Im hoping for a game of football today but depending on Arsenal’s squad availability I’d like to pre-apologize for the dark arts terrorism football that will be on display.

Probably deserved result for that Arsenal/Liverpool game based on how the game went overall.

Getting a bit triggered by all the Arsenal fans online going “Chelsea fans we know how you feel now” lmao.

No you absolutely do not, this wasn’t even a bad game from Taylor lmao.

It was a normal game, which is bad, but his normal is always bad—so it was bad, but normal for him.

Considering the ever depleting squad, I’ll take it. If there’s something that squad knows it's that the league isn’t won this early, but it can be lost this early.

Many games to go, many games for English officials to ruin (for all clubs).

As for the match yesterday, it was a fun watch. I thought Arsenal should have won and am happy to come back from down twice to get a point on the road.

But it was my birthday, so the club personally assured me that they wouldn't lose. Sorry Kreb

Yeah it was just regular bad.

His historic bad he saves for Chelsea because we hold a special place in his heart.

Another inexcusably **** performance* worthy of a team now clinging onto cup chances.

(The performances caused the majority of the funk, but having players punished [delaying the restart x2, Saliba's red] while in several other games the exact situations go unpunished has not helped, as playing with ten men repeatedly in such short of a time will disrupt any team.)

This is a two-horse race for the title, Arsenal have looked awful for a while and their recruitment has been really terrible.

One single first team player missing so they don’t even have that excuse, but also missing one player transforms their entire game from expansive and always dangerous to the worst football you’ll ever see. That just can’t be the case if you’re a team trying to regularly challenge for major silverware.

Both Arteta and Arsenal fans really need to stop trying to prove what a genius Arteta is via the whole Havertz thing. The fact that he’s the starting striker still is insane. So much shakeup with the top teams this season and Arsenal have their worst run of games since Arteta’s first season.

This feels like a major learning moment for Arteta as a coach that he currently is just not grasping. You can’t have no plan B when your plan A revolves so heavily around a single player.

Re: Recruitment, despite what some might believe, the club are bound by financial restrictions so to an extent, some of their targets were not attainable, and some fizzled out (Sesko seemed a lock to head to Arsenal but chose to stay in Germany for another year). I think people have also forgotten that one year ago the club spent £100m on Rice—that was always going to limit spending the following season.

Could recruitment be better, yes, and even though it has been several years, I think it's further proof at how incredibly **** that squad was, as it has had to been rebuilt entirely. Doesn't mean I haven't been underwhelmed a bit by recruitment, but if Calafiori (he's also a first-team player) is at LB and Timber at RB today, for starters, I don't think there would be as many grumbles regarding recruitment. Arsenal were very lucky last year in terms of injuries, but have been a bit unlucky so far this season—but that's how it goes.

As for the play and tactically, that has been absolute ****—far worse than recruitment—far worse.
